The new DocuWare App is released and available in the stores for both Android and iOS. It’s positioned as a companion app that reimagines how DocuWare empowers users through mobile access and focuses on mobile-specific, on-the-go use cases.

Document search: Quickly find documents while on the go and share them through other apps; perfect for sales teams or field staff who need instant access to customer records, contracts, or invoices.
Robust task management: Access and manage all assigned tasks, organized by workflow. This helps you keep processes moving, even outside the office.
Push notifications for tasks: With DocuWare version 7.14, users receive instant task notifications, ensuring faster response times and improved process throughput.
Import of files: Add documents to DocuWare directly from other mobile apps, making it easier to capture and store information immediately on site.
Efficient navigation: Simple tabs allow users to switch between tasks and related documents without losing context - a major productivity boost for multitasking.

Availability
The new app is simply called “DocuWare”. The current app was therefore renamed to “DocuWare Classic”.

At this point in time the new app will only work with DocuWare Cloud Systems. Support for on-premises organizations (with DocuWare versions 7.9 and higher) will follow in fall of 2026.
