When official Microsoft support for a version of the operating system expires, DocuWare also discontinues support for that version at the same time. The end of support will not be communicated separately. Server and Client Setup will display warnings for unsupported operating systems in this case. The setup can still be executed.

For a new installation of Desktop Apps, the current user must have local administrator rights on the computer. For an update of already installed Desktop Apps this is not required.
