DocuWare Cloud Status page

Prev Next

The DocuWare Cloud status page shows the current availability of DocuWare Cloud services. Use it to check whether a service disruption is already known, follow the progress of an incident, or read the final report once an issue is resolved. The status page is available for DocuWare Cloud only.

Because the status page runs independently from the production environment, it typically stays available even during a larger outage. You can check the state of your system at any time, so no separate email notifications are sent for incidents.

Opening the status page and signing in

The global status page at status.docuware.cloud gives an overview of all DocuWare Cloud services and regions. It is public and does not require a sign-in.

The status page of a single organization is a sub-page of it and shows data for that organization only. Because this data is specific to one organization, opening it requires a sign-in with your DocuWare account. Sign-in uses the DocuWare Identity Service, so no configuration is needed in DocuWare Configurations.

In the DocuWare Web Client, click the bell icon to open the status page of your organization. If you are signed in to DocuWare, sign-in to the status page happens automatically and the page opens directly.

If you open the status page of an organization you are not authorized to view, an Access denied page appears. Select Sign out to switch to a different account.

What the status page shows

The status page of your organization consists of three tabs: Status, Storage, and Performance. Together, they cover service health, storage use, and system performance. All three tabs are visible to every user of the organization.

Status

The Status tab lists the current state of each DocuWare Cloud service, such as Log in, Search, Store, or Workflow Tasks. An icon marks every service with an issue, and a link leads to the details of the incident.

Below the service list, the incidents of the last 30 days are listed with their current status, such as Investigating or Resolved, and the affected service. This lets you check whether a slowdown you noticed recently was caused by a known incident.

One record is kept for each incident and updated as work progresses, from the first note that the cause has been identified through to the final root cause analysis. Refresh the page to see the latest updates.

  • Regular progress updates while an incident is active

  • A final report with the cause and the resolution once an incident is closed

  • All incident information in one place, instead of searching through emails

Storage

The Storage tab charts the storage used and the number of documents in your organization over time. Select a time range to see the trend over the last days or months. The current totals for number of documents and used storage are listed below the chart.

Performance

The Performance tab compares the response time of your organization with the average response time of all organizations. You can select the operation to compare, for example searching, viewing, or storing a document, and the period to display.

If your organization takes longer than the average, the cause often lies outside DocuWare Cloud. A low bandwidth or a high network load in your own network increases the time needed to fetch a result. Complex search patterns also take longer, for example searches with many fields or with complex operators.
