# Reading out complex tables

When importing electronic invoices using Connect to Outlook or Connect to Mail, DocuWare reads data from these invoices and transfers it to index fields. The individual invoice items are usually written to DocuWare index tables. This works reliably even if the source invoice contains nested tables, that is, tables with subgroups.

**Components**: DocuWare Import, Connect to Outlook, Connect to Mail

Benefit

- Simplified approval process through more detailed data transfer from e-invoices, especially when line items are distributed across multiple cost centers

## Supported versions: DocuWare Cloud + 7.14 + 7.13 + 7.12
